cutting or splicing your factory wires (wire together one
reverse and one 'forward' harness, and tie into any

Although other after-market harness manufacturers make
similar reverse harnesses, theirs omit several important
wires found on the cars' factory harness.

I had these reverse harnesses factory made with all 20
wires. The wires have the same EIA-standard
color-coding used in after-market car audio, with text labels
(for example, "Left Front Speaker +"), ready for you to crimp
or solder. Harness includes these wires:
- Four speakers (8 wires)
- Ground
- +12 Volt Accessory (key-switched)
- +12 Volt Battery (always-on)
- Power antenna control (remote turn-on for motorized
antenna or factory antenna booster amplifier)
- Illumination ("Illumination +")
- Dimmer ("Illumination -")
- Audio Steering Wheel Controls (3 wires)
- 3 wires for additional signals depending on
make/year/model (e.g., CAN bus, VSS, etc.)
